Not only does Chaz Dean provide a haven for his clients, but he also believes in teaching them how to maintain the health and integrity of their hair. For instance, he has not used shampoo for nearly 20 years as he teaches that shampoos, irons and bleaches are damaging to the hair. Instead, he uses his special cleansing conditioner that does not use the sodium laurel sulfates and other damaging detergents that are found in many kinds of shampoos and conditioners.
The products Chaz Dean uses are not only safe for his clients but also the environment. He only uses specific coloring products that are low in ammonia content and do not emit strong fumes.
